The honest version

Arden & Wolfe does not issue refunds for change of mind, errors in measurements you supplied, or aesthetic preferences after delivery. Every garment is cut individually to the specifications you provide at the time of ordering, so it cannot be restocked or resold once production has begun.

Refunds are issued in two scenarios, both defined by the Australian Consumer Law:

1. The garment has a major fault. A reasonable consumer would not have bought the garment had they known about the fault, or the garment is significantly different from its description.
2. We cannot remedy a minor fault within a reasonable time. The ACL says you can return the goods for a refund if a chosen repair or replacement fails, takes too long, or causes significant inconvenience.

What a refund looks like in practice

Approved refunds are paid back to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of:

• us receiving the garment back at our Beechboro workshop (for refund-after-return scenarios), or
• us confirming in writing that a refund is being issued without return (for clear-cut major-fault scenarios).

For international orders, the 5–10 business day window is on top of any bank or card issuer processing time on your end.

Cancellations

• Within 24 hours of order: full refund available, no questions asked.
• After 24 hours but before fabric cutting: 50% refund. We have reserved capacity, materials and your pattern slot.
• After fabric cutting: no refund. You may swap to a different style from the same price tier.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy conferred on you by the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent any clause is read to do so, it is read down to comply with the ACL.
